Most acupuncture
clinics treat the area of pain directly.
This means they insert needles directly into
the parts of the body where the pain is most
severe. The practitioners at Nature's
Balance Acupuncture believe that this "adds
insult to injury" and may even possibly
further aggravate the painful condition.
Instead of
inserting needles at the site of the pain,
the practitioners at Nature's Balance
Acupuncture use a 2,500 year old method of
acupuncture based upon the "I Ching" or "The
Book of Changes" called "The Balance
Method". With this method, typically only
the acupuncture points found on the scalp
and ears, on the arms from the elbows to the
fingers, and on the legs from the knees to
the toes are used. In Traditional Chinese
Medicine, the points found in these areas
are considered to be the strongest of all
2,000+ points found on the body.
Because of
the strength of these points and the way in
which they are utilized, the results
achieved are amazing, with pain relief often
occurring within seconds. Over a series of
treatments, long lasting relief can be
achieved approximately 80% of the time.
An added
benefit to this form of treatment is that
the patient never has to take off their
clothes. This results in efficient and
relaxing treatments that are extremely
effective.
In order to
become proficient in this method of
treatment, the practitioners at Nature's
Balance Acupuncture have received extensive
training from a master in "The Balance
Method", Dr. Richard Teh-Fu Tan. Because of
their dedication to being masters of this
treatment method, they continue to travel
across the globe attending lectures and
seminars presented by Dr. Tan.
